Maintenance
12th March: WiFi maintenance works

On 12th March at 4am Information & Digital Services will be patching our Wi-Fi network. This work is being carried out to secure and upgrade the Wi-Fi network. 

Work will be carried out to WiFi on campus and at Keele in Town. During this time you might notice some performance degradation but it will not be a full outage. Information & Digital Services apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

G-Suite Performance Issues

Google has reported issues with the following parts of G-Suite, which are affecting some Keele users:

  • Sending emails in Gmail
  • Recording meetings in Google Meet
  • Creating files in Google Drive
  • Posting messages in Google Hangouts
  • Adding new pages to Google Sites
  • Google Keep
  • Voice-mail issues

  • Google is now reporting these issues have been resolved.

  • Google are reporting that the Gmail service has already been restored for some users, and they expect a resolution for all users in the near future. Please note this time frame is an estimate and may change.
