Upcoming scheduled maintenance for Library Search, Rialto and Alma:

8th July: CompSci lab machine service upgrade

IDS will be migrating the CompSci lab machine service to a new host system on Tuesday 8th July between 9am and 1pm. This work is being carried out to improve the security of the system and to support our digital transformation.

TOPDesk

We're experiencing issues with our TOPDesk service desk system - the suppliers have been notified and working on a fix.

  • Normal services have resumed.

  • TOPDesk is still down this morning, our supplier is investigating and we will update shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience.

  • VPN Services VPN connections issues

    We are currently experiencing connection issues with the VPN. We are working to resolve these issues as soon as possible and apologise for any inconvenience this is causing our colleagues.

  • Normal service has resumed.

  • We have been informed that Sky appears to have now resolved the problem.

  • We are aware this is affecting Sky Broadband due to a network fault their end. Please keep an eye on the status dashboard for updates.

    Filestores Issues with Shared Network Drives

  • eVision/SCIMS eVision/SCIMS

    11:53 17/08/2021 We are seeing some performance issues with eVision & SITS this morning - teams are working to try and mitigate issues, but please try again if you receive an error.

    13:10 17/08/2021 We are beginning to see a return to service, apologies for any inconvenience this has caused.
