8th July: CompSci lab machine service upgrade

IDS will be migrating the CompSci lab machine service to a new host system on Tuesday 8th July between 9am and 1pm. This work is being carried out to improve the security of the system and to support our digital transformation.

Attendance System Issues with Checking in from the App

We are currently investigating an issue related to checking in on the App.

  • The issues with viewing timetables and checking into classes are now resolved. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

  • We apologise for the continued issues around checking in. Our support teams are continuing to work on resolving this issue.

    Microsoft O365 O365 Issues

    There are on-going worldwide issues currently with O365 - Microsoft are currently investigating. Microsoft has notified us that the following services are being impacted, which large numbers of users are unable to access: -Microsoft Teams -Exchange Online -Outlook -SharePoint Online -OneDrive for Business -Microsoft Graph

  • We believe systems are back to normal for Keele users on O365 - if you experience further issues, please contact the IT Service Desk.

  • Microsoft has rolled back a configuration change on their network and is monitoring the situation.

  • Microsoft has identified the root cause of the issues experienced and is working to resolve this ASAP.

  • We are seeing some services for O365 now returning for Keele users, if you are unable to access a service, please try again. We'll keep updating as and when we know more.
