ProQuest eBook Central, one of our eBook platforms, will be unavailable between 3pm and 11pm on Saturday 26 June whilst the supplier carries out maintenance work.

Vodafone Work - Potential Disruption

Inbound calls to the University may be disrupted on Tuesday 6 July while Vodafone carry out maintenance work.

This service disruption may be experienced between 10pm and 10.30pm. If callers experience issues then redialling should resolve the issue. Apologies for any inconvenience this causes.

CMS Maintenance

Maintenance work to the University's content management system (CMS), the back-end of the University website, will be taking place over the weekend of 10 and 11 July.

The CMS and University website will both remain accessible throughout this period, but updates won't publish until the work is completed. This work will also prevent updates scheduled to publish during this time from being made live.

KLE unavailable - change to hosting

The KLE will be unavailable between 5pm on Friday 16 July and start of business on Wednesday 21 July whilst our provider moves the system to being hosted in the Cloud.

Staff and students will be unable to access the system during this time.

Microsoft O365 Microsoft Teams

Microsoft are aware of issues accessing Microsoft Teams & Audio/Video calls. Users able to access Microsoft Teams may experience degraded performance with multiple features.

We'll update on the situation shortly.

  • Update 13:27 - Microsoft have reported that they have completed work to resolve these issues and users should now start seeing a return of service.

  • Update 13:05 - Microsoft have confirmed these issues are affecting users globally and they are working to resolve the issues. Keele users are having intermittent issues with accessing calls, using chat/comments, and with call quality.

    eVision/SCIMS Intermittent issues with Remote Apps

    We are currently investigating issues some users are experiencing with Remote Apps, including the SCIMS client. Our team are looking into this and will work to resolve issues asap.

  • Update 11:47 - We believe these issues are now resolved. If you continue to have issues accessing any remote apps, including the SCIMS client, please get in touch with the IT Service Desk.
